Zuma has some potential. Good cheap drinks, especially the pitchers. Also they get some solid DJs coming in, especially for House Tuesday's. But the place feels kind of dirty and somewhat of a second class bar on Mill. Also the bathroom guy is a wildcard of attitude and emotion. Just gonna leave it there

I found myself in this dive bar with my out of town guests.. drinking beer and watching the Dodgers game after strolling around Mill Avenue.. the bartender was very friendly and kept our drinks coming.. cold cheap beers and whiskey drinks

They have a wall full of Red Bull drinks.. and crazy pitcher size fruity drinks with a can or bottle of something sticking out of it

In the early evening the place was not very busy and perfect for enjoying a sporting event... I don't get to Mill Ave often but we definitely enjoyed our visit

This place has finally turned around. They got better security folks who are actually friendly and the bartenders are way better. They added a line of drinks featuring various red bull flavors and they are very potent - and delicious.

The DJ who comes in now place vastly better music than before. I'm pleased to update my review from 1 to 4 stars to reflect their massive improvement over the past year.

Okay so I'm giving this place 5 stars for the MUSIC on the weekends. I love the vibe and the atmosphere of this place after 11:30pm on a Friday or Saturday. When I walk past this place it's dead during the week nights, but on the weekend it really comes alive. The drinks are good and the DJ's they have are CONSISTENT with the fire tracks (hip-hop/rap), its packed wall-to-wall and there really isn't room for movement as the night goes on which is cool if you're into that kind of thing (which I am lol). Not really a lot of creeps, just people there for the music as well and a good time.

It saddens me to say this because I have a lot of friends that play at this bar, but I will probably not step foot in this place for a very long time, if ever again. I will also be sure to tell my friends of my recent experience here.
I came in on Tuesday night to celebrate my birthday and to see my friend DJ. I had went to the restroom at one point where my girlfriend followed behind. We were having a conversation and for some odd reason the bathroom attendant, Kenya, got into our conversation and was talking to us very rude. I told her she was working and needed to stay out of our business and she began to get irate and told me she can take me outside and was getting in my face. Now, I've never been in a fight in my life because I settle my conflicts with words, and this is exactly what I told her. Bar staff came in and told me to leave. I tried to tell them that this woman, who is at work, is trying to fight me, a customer. He didn't care to hear me out (at this point, I'll admit that I was beyond upset and probably not as calm as I had been at the beginning of the confrontation with this woman but that is still no reason for them to treat me the way they did). I got kicked out so I called to try and speak with the manager but one was not in and I was advised to call back the next day (Wednesday is my actual birthday so calling and talking to them on my birthday wasn't ideal, but I wanted this situation to be addressed and called them anyway). I called 5 times Wednesday and never got an answer, and one of those times was right at 10:30AM. I left a voicemail and I still haven't heard back. This situation was unacceptable and the way I was treated was beyond excusable. I Actually stopped eating here long ago because of the roaches in the bathroom, but now I will never go here even just for dancing. Not if this is how they want to run their business.
And that sorry excuse of a woman (it's hard to even call her a woman because no level headed lady would try to fight customers while they're at work) should not be working around people who are intoxicated. She's nothing but a liability.
